Look at the entrance of any temple – it has an elephant and a lion. Elephant stands for prosperity and the lion for strength. Wealth and strength are normally the causes of a person’s ego. When you go into a temple, the symbols remind you to leave the ego outside. It is exactly how you should enter a classroom – there is always something to learn. If you go in thinking ‘I know more than the trainer / teacher, you miss out on the learning opportunities. It is a complete waste of time, you might as well go watch a movie without disturbing others.

Mi3 Bday Bash

We had a gr8 time celebrating Maitrey's Bday last weekend. Started off with giving her a suprise get-together at Papa Jones, Powai. Feasted on Pizzas and Pastas and then pushed off to Mi3-Marshal's place at Andheri.

At home it was Treasure hunt time. Thanks to my dear wife Pinky, we had planned a small treasure hunt around the house for Mi3 to get her gifts. Worked out well...Mi3 was good in solving the clue's and we had a gala time seeing her do it.
Next day morning Marshal-Mi3 treated us with Sunday morning Poha. We love to have Poha at their place..it tastes gr8 Indore style. After lazing around for a while we headed for lunch at a nice place called Happy Singh at Andheri. There was a discount offer of 30% and we used it to the best. The Kalimirch Chicken was delicious. For a change even our friend Ashwin, who is least interested in food, showed a good appetite. We all ate to our capacity and had a fun time chatting.
Weeknd was gr8..too bored to get to office tomm...wish my office had given a holiday for Eid :(..

Lonavala Trip

Lonavala it is...after lot of contemplation and unending conf calls between the NNU gang ;), we finally headed for Kumar WaterPark in Lonavala to beat the heat on the long weekend. We started early and rchd the place by around 10 thanks to the cops who delayed us by half n hour. whenever i see the pool i keep cursing myself for not learning swiming. All four of us Pinks, Mi3, Sangeeta and myself were struggling to even float. Thanks to Marshall i finally managed to float atleast - something which i used to think was impossible. m all motivated to learn swiming now :). we enjoyed all the water rides and were in the pool till around 2.. By the time we were out all of us were dead tired and hungry. We headed to Lonavala restaurant and had a sumptous lunch..the food was amazing...Post lunch we headed for drive along the Bhushi Dam right upto the entrance of Ambey Valley..on the way back we stopped at Lion's point and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. bought some chiki's as well on the way..was a sweet and nice trip.
Chilling in the pool

That's me learning to float
